Little Wrens Nursery and Pre School offers tailored childcare to meet your individual needs, whether your child attends the baby, toddler or preschool room we try our best to be as flexible as possible. Each of our rooms are specially designed and continuously reviewed by our team to ensure your child is safe and well cared for in a fun filled, stimulating environment.

OUR DAYCARE OFFER A SAFE AND HEALTHY LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL CHILDREN
Daycare
Little Wrens offers quality childcare from 7.30am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We are open 50 weeks a year and are closed all bank holidays. We cater for children from as young as two weeks old up to school starting age.
Baby
Our baby room staff provide high quality care in a stimulating, warm and secure environment. We have a lovely spacious baby room for lots of room to explore and play with a designated sleep area to rest their heads. We meet the baby’s personal needs and routines according to Parents/Carers wishes although we do ask for all feeding and changing essentials for their child including, nappies, wipes, nappy creams, changing clothes, bottles and formula/breast milk to be provided. Individual needs of the child are in the heart of this room alongside plenty of sensory learning opportunities, messy, indoor and outdoor play and musical activities to keep their minds active.
Toddler Room
The toddler room focuses on developing children personal, social and emotional skills alongside communication and language and physical development. The toddler’s environment enables them to explore whilst learning. We will keep them entertained with lots of messy, indoor and outdoor play, musical exploratory activities to enhance their already curious minds. We have a dedicated book corner where we act out favourite stories to feed their imagination and build confidence.
Pre-schools
The pre-school room is where the more structured learning will begin as they desire more independence which we encourage greatly. Children are introduced to phonics and are provided more adult led activities in a fun filled environment keeping them actively learning through play. Our emphasis is continuously on play-based learning and our pre school room is designed to keep them busy whilst doing just that. Children will be able to explore indoor and outdoor activities and be as creative as they wish. We strive for children to leave our setting confident, independent and ready to continue learning.
Activities
We provide a wide range of activities to suit each child both indoor and out. We try to ensure that children have access to outdoor space in all-weathers to increase their experiences. Activities are focused towards the child interest to ensure we can maximum learning opportunities. We love getting messy and so do children. Story time and singing is incorporated into our daily routine along with circle time and free flow activities.
